Upwey Sounds

It may have been typical Upwey wintery weather but that didn't stop the crowds of movers and groovers from braving the cold and turning up on Saturday June 27 to listen and dance to the hugely talented musicians who took part in the recent Upwey Sounds. 

Held across four Upwey venues - Blue Hills Hall and skate park precinct, Foothills Community Care Hub, Upwey/ Belgrave RSL and The Fat Goat,  we were treated to an afternoon and evening of extraordinary music from talented local bands and solo artists. 

Our heartfelt thanks go to all the musicians who supported Upwey Sounds and made this event such a success:  

Miss Skatonic 3, Neesy & Stewart, Tony J King, Conqueror Root, Deep Steve, Peter Ess,  David Green, Moonshine Coalition, Beyond the Sea, Sherry Parry, Grace de Vos. Plus youth musicians  Nina Rose, Who's Rosie, Melody Band, IHA and all the DJ's, DJ Digging, DJ Jo, DJ B, DJ Tres Bien, Conquest, Amy B, Solenium and Hungry Boy Music, who spun the discs betwen the live sets. Plus the amazing and entertaining Katie Kapow!

You all brought our community together and made Upwey Sounds an event to remember.
