Main Street Beautification

The Beautification Working Group is a collection of local people from our Community with a very genuine interest in preserving and enhancing the pride we have in our township.

Our aim is to beautify our Main Street and adjoining parkways and carpark areas – to make Upwey more inviting and an attractive place to come and visit. In addition, we promote the importance of shopping locally and supporting our Upwey traders.

We conduct various activities, and regular Working Bees, including

shopfront painting,
landscaping,
installation of watering systems and planting
Festive Christmas Trees erected each December around the township
garden maintenance
rubbish removal
general tidy-up of the Main Street and surrounds - and then enjoy a coffee and chat!
